TWO CONCERT SERIES ANNOUNCED

Tickets are on Sale for Appearances of Boston Symphony in Sanders

Tickets for the series of eight concerts to be given by the Boston Symphony Orchestra in Sanders Theatre this winter will be placed on sale at Kent's University Bookstore this morning at 8 o'clock. The price of season tickets will be $7. Single seats at $1 each will be placed on sale at the same time. The concerts this year will be given on the following Thursday evenings: October 21, November 11, December 9, January 13, February 3, February 24, March 23, and April 27. The orchestra will again be under the leadership of Dr. Muck.

Whiting Recitals Start November 4

The University series of Expositions of Chamber Music by Mr. Arthur Whiting and assisting artists will be held this year in the John Knowles Paine Concert Hall of the new Music Building at 8.15 o'clock on the following Thursday evenings once a month: November 4, December 16, January 20, February 17, March 30.

These expositions are open, without charge for admission, to all officers and students in the University.
