N. E. CLUBS MET AT SPRINGFIELD

President Eliot Elected Head of Federation of Harvard Clubs.

The annual meeting of the New England Federation of Harvard Clubs was held in Springfield on Saturday. Representatives of the 25 constituent clubs were entertained by the Connecticut Valley Harvard Club. A business session was held in the morning, and the afternoon was devoted to sports. The meeting closed with a banquet, at which 100 guests were present. George Wigglesworth '74, of Boston, Presided and the speakers were President Lowell, Eliot Wadsworth '98, of Boston, and H. G. Chapin '82, of Springfield.

President Eliot, of Cambridge, was elected president; Howard Elliott '81, of Boston, vice-president; Hermann Frederick Clark '05, of Boston, secretary; Martin Allison Taylor '89, of Haverhill, treasurer. The business session adopted resolutions on the death of ex-Governor J. D. Long '57, a former vice-president of the Federation.
