UNION SCENE OF BIG FRESHMAN DINNER.--PRESIDENT LOWELL TO SPEAK.

The Freshman class will hold a banquet, its first social function of the year, in the Living Room of the Union this evening at 7 o'clock. President Lowell, Dean Yeomans, W. J. Murray '18, and G. A. Percy '18, will speak. U. V. Nelson '18, who has been appointed toast-master, will call on different members of the Freshman class for short speches on the various class activities.

The sale of tickets has been very large thus far, and only a few are left. The remaining ones are on sale at $2 each at the Union, or may be obtained from members of the Dinner Committee. The attendance of every man in the class is expected.
