The preliminary matches of the college doubles tennis tournament will be held at Jarvis Field this afternoon. Courts will be reserved but players must provide tennis balls. Unless the scores of the following matches are posted on the chart at the field by 6 o'clock, the players will be defaulted:
At 2 o'clock-C. D. Hanscom '17 and W. H. Wedger '17 vs. E. B. Starbuck 14 and K. W. Snyder '14; winners to play T. J. D. Fuller '15 and E. F. A. Morgan '15 at 4 o'clock. J. Wooldredge '16 and partner vs. H. G. Francke '14 and E. W. Brewer, Jr., '14; W. P. Whitehouse, 2nd '17 and J. E. Gale '17 vs. E. G. Allan '16 and C. H. Andrews '17.
At 4 o'clock-S. Stanton '15 and O. C. Stanton '17 vs. D. P. Rumsey '16 and J. L. Kimberly '16.
