The CRIMSON takes this opportunity to extend a hearty welcome on behalf of the University to the athletes who are in Cambridge today to open the Annual New England Intercollegiate meet. That Harvard is not a competitor in the events makes no difference. We are glad to have such a gathering in our midst. We are apply that it is possible for us to extend the use of the Stadium and a fast track for their accommodation. We bespeak. on the part of the undergraduate body, a warm reception to each individual competitor and extend our congratulations in advance to the successful team. May the best traditions of athletics in the history of New England be sustained.
