Qualifying Round for Golf Title Takes Place at Oakley Today.

The University golf championship tournament will start over the links of the Oakley Country Club this afternoon at 1.30 o'clock with a qualifying round of 18 holes. As a result of this round 16 men will qualify for the match play rounds which will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, and Thursday. The entrance fee is $1, and, in addition, those who are neither regular nor special members of the Oakley Club will be charged $1 per day for the use of the course. The list of entrants and pairings are given below, but additional entries will be received at the first tee this afternoon: J. G. Heyburn '16 and P. W. Simons '16, H. de Ford, Jr., '15 and P. Winsor '15, B. Nichols '15 and G. W. Aldridge '17, C. H. Kendall '16 and H. K. Caner '15, G. C. Ludlow '15 and H. Goodspeed '16, E. P. Allis '15 and P. F. Schofield '16, S. P. Griffitts '15 and J. W. Hubbell '17, F. Sargent '14 and F. I. Amory, Jr., '17, E. P. Warner '16 and L. Clark '16.
