The University baseball squad has advanced rapidly in the last week, aided by favorable weather and daily practice games. Each succeeding day Coach Sexton has gone farther into the details and fine points of the game. On Saturday when two picked teams played a fast 3 to 3 tie game of nine innings, good fielding and batting were the features of the contest. If the weather conditions remain favorable, a well developed nine should face Colgate on Thursday.
