SCHOOL BOY TENNIS PLANS
Annual Interscholastic Championship Matches to be Held on Jarvis Field on May 9 and 11.
The twenty-fourth annual tournament for the Harvard interscholastic lawn tennis championship in singles will be held on Saturday, May 9, and Monday, May 11. All contestants must report to R. E. Allen '15 on Jarvis Field at 9 o'clock on May 9.
Prizes will be given to the winner and to the runner-up; and to the school winning the greatest number of points will be awarded the championship shield. Each match actually won will count one point. The winner, as Harvard interscholastic champion for 1914, will be allowed to play at Newport, in August, for the national interscholastic championship. All men who participate are invited by the Committee on Reception to Visiting Teams to spend Saturday in Cambridge without expense.
No player will be allowed to compete who has passed his twentieth birthday. Entries, which must be accompanied by the schools annual dues of $5 and each man's entrance fee of $1, will close on Friday, May 8.
