DANIELS AND RUGG ELECTED

MARSHAL AND SECRETARY OF SENIOR CLASS OF LAW SCHOOL ANNOUNCED.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Joseph Johnston Daniels, of Indianapolis, Ind., was yesterday elected Marshal, and Charles Belcher Rugg, of Worcester, was elected Secretary of the third year class of the Law School. The former graduated from Wabash College in the class of 1911, and the latter received the degrees of A.B. and A.M. from Amherst College in 1911.

The preferential system of voting was used in counting the ballots. The last men were dropped from the list until a candidate secured a majority of the first choices, when he was declared elected. The deciding vote for Marshal stood, J. J. Daniels 91, C. P. Franchot 75, and for secretary, C. B. Rugg 90, O. M. Chadwick 41, and L. Powers 39.
