Mr. Alfred Noyes, Litt.D., of Rottingdoan, England, one of the most prominent living English poets and a strong advocate of International Peace, will give an author's reading at Tremont Temple, Boston, this evening at 8.15 o'clock. Tickets, ranging in price from $1.50 to 25 cents, may be procured at Tremont Temple or the CRIMSON Office. There was an insufficient number of applications to obtain the reduced prices as offered yesterday.
Mr. Noyes has accepted an invitation from the University crew management to take lunch at the Varsity Club this noon, and there is a possibility that he will watch the afternoon practice. He was an Oxford oar in his University days, and still retains his interest in the sport. The University crew will, in turn, accept Mr. Noyes' hospitality in the evening at Tremont Temple.
