The Dramatic Club will present three plays this spring, two of which were decided upon yesterday. "The Clod," is written by E. L. Beach, Jr., '13, author of "Let's Get Married" which was presented last fall. Mr. Beach is a graduate of Professor Baker's course, English 47. "The Bank Account," the other play chosen, is by H. F. Brock, editor of the Boston Post.
The first trials for the spring productions were held in the Trophy Room of the Union last evening when about thirty candidates reported. There will be a rehearsal in Brooks House at 7 o'clock.
The following candidates for parts have been retained for further trial: R. Coggshall '16, L. B. Everitt '17, L. C. Henin '15, C. W. Jenks '15, D. E. Kennedy '17, N. W. Loud '15, R. H. Norweb Uc., M. Roth '17, H. L. Sharmat '15, R. B. Southgate '15, L. Stone '16.
