CROSS FOILS WITH COLUMBIA

The University fencing team will meet the Columbia fencers in New York this evening at 8 o'clock. The team will consist of S. F. Damon '14 (captain); R. von Nardroff '15; J. A. Aylen '15; and T. J. Putnam '15. The result of the meet which will take place in the Columbia Gymnasium will probably be very close. Columbia won the Intercollegiate championship last year, and their team this year is practically the same. The University fencers have had a successful season losing only one match, that with the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis.

There are several open dates on the schedule of the team before the preliminary meet of New England colleges at the Boston Harvard Club on the afternoon and evening of March 28. The final meet, which will decide the intercollegiate championship, will be held at the Hotel Astor in new York, April 11.
