FRESHMAN SUFFRAGE.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

With the election of its class officers today the class of 1917 will definitely assume corporate form as a Harvard body. To become a part of this organization more is demanded than having registered with the class, more even than holding sentiments of loyalty and interest. Membership means a willingness to assume certain responsibilities in class affairs of which the minimum is to vote at class elections. Knowledge of the nominees is necessarily small for the great majority of the voters. But better a vote on partial knowledge than no vote at all. The significant thing is participation by all. As long as we have Freshman Suffrage--let the Freshmen vote!
