The University hockey squad had the last practice before the vacation in the Arena yesterday afternoon. Teams A and B had a brisk scrimmage for 25 minutes. The team-work had greatly improved and the passing and shooting were much more accurate than in the game with the B. A. A. last Saturday, G. Townsend played a remarkably consistent game and his individual brilliancy was the feature of the practice. Townsend scored five goals for Team A, two from scrimmage and three from long, straight, shots, Doty in Captain Claflin's place, played a strong though somewhat erratic game, taking the puck down the rink several times and on one of these dashes succeeding in driving the puck past Weld for a score. Eckfeldt scored the single tally for Team B, the final score being 6 to 1 in favor of Team A. The lines of both teams showed considerable improvement and in a few weeks should be very strong.

Teams A and B lined up as follows:

Team A.  Team B.Cunningham, l.w.  r.w., BlissG. Townsend, l.c.  r.c., E. O. Baker, HoweBaldwin, Wanamaker, r.c.  l.c. Wanamaker, LombardKissel, r.w.  l.w., FisherDoty, c.p.  cp., EckfeldtMorgan, p  p., ClarkWylde, Stanton, g.  g., Harte, Wel
