Voluntary work under the direction of coach Wray will begin immediately immediately after the Christmas recess for all candidates for the University and Freshman crews. This work will last until the end of the examination period, the work consisting of practice on the machines of the Newell boathouse. Freshman candidates who have had little or no experience are advised to take advantage in this opportunity to get instruction from Coach Wray.
Regular work will begin directly after the mid-year examinations for all candidates for either crew, and will consist the practice on the machines and in the tank at the Newell boathouse until the river is open.
