Massachusetts Again Leads University Registration With 1904.

In the geographical distribution of the students in this year's enrolment in the University it is interesting to note that Massacusetts again easily leads in the general registration, having 1904 representatives; New York State is second with 423; Pennsylvania third with 181; Ohio fourth with 144; Illinois next with 123; New Jersey sixth with 92 and New Hampshire seventh with 71. Every state in the Union is represented, and in addition there are 108 students from 25 foreign countries, and representatives from the Canal Zone, the Hawaiian Islands, the Philippines and Porto Rico. Canada sent 37 men; China 18; Japan 9; England and South Africa 6 each; India and Turkey 4 each; and Germany and Western Australia 3 each. The other countries have only 1 or 2 representatives each.

The ten leading cities are Boston and the vicinity, with 1028; New York and Brooklyn, with 227; Chicago, with 84; Worcester with 39; Cleveland, with 38; Providence, with 36; Philadelphia, with 33; Pittsburgh, with 32; Washington, with 24; and Cincinnati, with 24.
