Professor George C. Whipple of the University is delivering a series of seven lectures at the Worcester Polytechnical Institute this month on "Sanitation as Applied to Cities." The first lecture, on "The Value of Municipal Cleanliness," has been given, and today he will lecture on "Clean Air"; November 9, "Clean Water"; November 13, "Disposal of Solid Wastes"; November 16, "Disposal of Liquid Wastes"; November 20, "The Economic Factor in Sanitation"; November 23, "The Social Factor in Sanitation."
