The second match in which the University chess team has contested this year resulted in a 5 to 3 victory over the Massachusetts Institute of Technology team on Saturday night. A return match will be played on January 9, in Boston, and in case of a win for Technology, a third match will be played on February 20 at Cambridge. The University players to win their boards were D. M. Beers '15; A. S. Ellenberger uC., C. H. Fabens 2L., R. Johnson '16, L. Le Fevre '17.
