The war is making itself felt at the Institute of Technology. The students have been cautioned to be as careful as possible of all the chemical apparatus and supplies which come from Germany, and which are available now only at exorbitant prices. The supply of books for one of the courses is exhausted and all students having such books in their possession and not needing them for immediate use have been asked to turn them in during the war.
