Michigan has come a thousand miles to play the University team in the Stadium today, and will fight hard and use its last resource to gain a victory.
The Western team has brought with it a large number of followers who will make their enthusiasm and their faith in their team felt and heard.
The University team, the CRIMSON believes, is at least the equal of the visiting eleven in playing power. It has been rebuilt and the fighting spirit has been instilled in it, until it now faces its first big game, a worthy exponent of the University's football traditions. As a team it is due to find itself in today's game.
But while the team is doing its best, the stands must not be idle. Not only must the University not be out-played; it must not be out-cheered.
The CRIMSON wishes the University eleven success in today's game.
