Debaters Prepare for Trials

The subject for the interclass debate, trials for which will begin on November 9, is "Resolved, That capital punishment should be abolished in the United States."

The first trials will be held on Monday, November 9; all the candidates will prepare a five-minute speech on either side of the question. Six men from each class will be picked for the second trials on Thursday, November 12. These men will prepare ten-minute speeches on the same subject. The teams of three men and an alternate will be picked then.
