The meeting under the direction of the Union and the Speakers' Club for the discussion of the causes of the war, which was to have been held tonight, will take place in the Union next Tuesday evening at 8 o'clock.
The discussion will be carried on by undergraduates of the University, the different points of view being explained by sympathizers of the various warring countries. Professor A. B. Hart '80 will bring the meeting to a close by a summary and explanation.
It is the purpose of this open discussion to afford an opportunity for a free and open-minded exchange of ideas on this question, and any inflamatory speeches or display of undue prejudice will be out of order.
This will be the first of a series of discussions to be held throughout the winter on interesting and important topics. The meeting will be open to Union members.
