Promising Outlook for Series

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

At last the Haughton Cup football series is under way and everything now points to a successful season, though not on as large a scale as had been hoped. Three full teams, the "Crows," the "Scamps" and the "We-always-wins" reported for practice yesterday and received a long drilling in the fundamentals. Some of the material looked very promising, and, provided a dozen or so more men come out to act as substitutes, the series should be very successful. The first game is scheduled for next Wednesday at 4 o'clock. The drawings will be announced later.

Any new men who wish to play should report at the Locker Building today at 3 o'clock.
