MANY COMPETE IN HANDICAPS

Three Events Run off Yesterday.--Three More Today

Three events in the handicap track series were run off yesterday afternoon with a much larger number of contestants than reported for the events on Monday. In the 3-mile run there were twenty-five starters. The winners, their times and handicaps follow:

100-yard dash--Won by W. H. Meanix '16 (scratch); second, E. A. Teschner '17 (1 yard); third, B. Z. Nelson '15 (scratch). No time taken.

3-mile run--Won by H. G. MacLure '15 (scratch); second, N. L. Torrey '15 (220 yards); third, W. W. Kent '16 (140 yards). No time taken.

High jump--Won by G. G. Haydock '16 (3 inches); second, H. W. D. Rudd '15 (scratch). Height, 5 feet, 8 inches.

The following events are scheduled for today: at 2.30 o'clock 90-yard high hurdles and pole-vault; at 2.45 o'clock--120-yard low hurdles.
