CHEERING AT THE GAME.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

An encouraging feature of Saturday's game was the vigorous vocal work of the cheering section. When the team needed encouragement and support, which was about all the time during the game, the cheering section gave it with enthusiasm. The crippled and, at times, somewhat lackadaisical University eleven could not but respond and the "excuse-my-back" formation of Tufts had to succumb.

The singing between the halves was also good, although the addition of a tenor or two would have improved the general effect.

Taking Saturday's game as a sample, there promises to be no lack of support from the stands this season.
