FRESHMEN-ANDOVER IN STADIUM

Lack of Ice has Handicapped 1917 Team in its Development.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Provided there is ice, the Freshman hockey team will play the third regular game of its schedule against Phillips Andover Academy on the Stadium rink this afternoon at 3 o'clock.

During the week the Freshmen have been unable to practice outside owing to the warm weather. The team however, had three opportunities to practice in the Arena with the University team. In these scrimmages the Freshman played a good defensive game and showed up comparatively well against the University players. The forward line has not yet demonstrated its full ability as a scoring machine, and the game this afternoon will be not only a test, but a good opportunity for improvement.
