The hockey practice yesterday consisted of a hard 35-minute scrimmage between Team A and Team B which was won by the former by the score of 4 to 1. The forwards showed great improvement in passing and team-play, all of the scores being the result of a systematic attack and not of individual effort. The men, however, appeared a trifle over-trained and tired visibly towards the close of the contest.
The make-up of the team for Saturday's contest is practically decided except for left wing, S. P. Clark and Wanamaker being tried out in that position.
Hopkins was the individual star of the practice scoring three goals, twice receiving the puck from Phillips and once from Smart previous to his shot. S. P. Clark tallied the other point for Team A after taking a pass from Willetts. Doty scored the only goal for Team B after he and Morgan had taken the puck the length of the rink.
