There will be a meeting of candidates for the Freshman track team in the Locker Building this afternoon at 4.15 o'clock. Mr. W. F. Garcelon L.'95 will address the meeting, and will outline the plans for the season. Mr. Garcelon has also consented to assist in coaching the Freshmen this spring, and will be on hand whenever possible. He is well fitted for the position, having always made a study of training methods and having himself run the hurdles when a student in the University. As yet but little promising material has appeared, and if the standard set by previous Freshman teams is to be maintained, more men must be developed. No previous experience is necessary.
