The Faculty of the University will give the annual reception to new students in the Living Room of the Union this evening at 8 o'clock. This meeting affords an opportunity for new members of the University to become acquainted with some of its leaders and their ideals. Although planned primarily for this purpose, all members of the University are invited to attend.

As in past years, Dean Briggs will preside and will introduce as speakers President Lowell, the Rt. Rev. William Lawrence, Professor R. B. Merriman '96, and P. B. Potter '14. While no specific subjects have been announced, the talks will touch on matters relative to College life and of interest and importance to every member of the University.
