Garber Privately Tells Faculty That Harvard Must Rethink Messaging After GOP Victory
The most important appointment of the summer and that probably of the greatest interest to Harvard graduates and undergraduates at large was the selection of a man to fill Mr. Garcelon's place as Graduate Treasurer of Athletics. About the middle of July announcement of the choice was made, Fred Wadsworth Moore '92, of Boston. He assumed office on August 1.
While in College Mr. Moore was undergraduate football manager, and before Mr. Garcelon became Graduate Manager of Athletics, he occupied that position. In 1896 he graduated from the Law School and has been practicing law in Boston.
Mr. Moore has already worked out a new scheme for the distribution of tickets to the big football games, the details of which will be made known within a few days. It means a great lessening of labor and expense, and a more effective method of preventing speculation.
