Wells Prize in economics for the current year has been awarded to Norman Scott Brien Gras, Ph.D. '12, of London, Ontario, for a thesis, entitled "The Evolution of the English Corn Market (1100-1700)". This prize of $500 is offered for the best thesis, embodying the results of original investigation, upon some subject in the field of economics.
