The annual 440-yard handicap race for the Wells Cup which was to have been held Friday was postponed on account of the rain. The race will be held in the Stadium this afternoon at 4 o'clock. The race will be held in the Stadium this afternoon at 4 o'clock. The race is open to all students in the University; but Freshmen, especially, are urged to enter because the cup will come into the permanent possession of the man winning the race for four successive years. The cup is offered by Mr. L. G. Wells '86, and is at present held by W. A. Barron, Jr., '14, who won the race last year.
