Last of Godkin Lectures at 8

Mr. Herbert D. Croly '90, of Windsor, Vt., will deliver the fifth and last of the Godkin Lectures on "Democracy and Responsibility" in Emerson J this evening at 8 o'clock. The subject of this lecture is "The Mechanism of Popular Representation." In his previous lectures Mr. Croly has compared the relations of the "Old" and the "New" Democracy to the Constitution with the verdict against the system as it now exists. This evening he will specify more in detail his ideas on American government.
