A new plan of selecting second assistant managers for the major athletic teams has been adopted at Yale. Instead of competitions, a ballot of the entire Sophomore class will decide contests for university managerships. According to the new plan, nominations can be made by any ten Sophomores. The only restrictions on eligibility of candidates is that one must have a scholastic standing of 250 for his Freshman year and must not be on probation. The manager is chosen form two leading candidates picked by a preliminary ballot.
