Next Friday evening at 8 o'clock Professor P. H. Hanus, of the Education Department will speak in Emerson J on the New York School Inquiry which has created so much excitement during the past year. Professor Hanus was a member of the investigating committee which brought to light many surprising facts about the New York schools. For the past year he has been investigating the question thoroughly, and is now an authority on the subject. This is a very important, as well as interesting topic, and next Friday's lecture will be the first one delivered on it since the final report of the committee. The lecture will be given under the auspices of the Phi Delta Kappa Society, and will be open to the University.
