New Haven, Conn., Sunday, December 14, 1913.--The Yale Athletic Committee has decided to give up the unsuccessful English stroke, and has appointed Richard Armstrong, captain of the winning Yale 1895 crew, head coach. He will be assisted by Mr. Guy Nickalls, who has been coach of the Leander crew for many years, and is known as one of the English rowing experts. He will also be assisted by Mr. Gianinni of the New York Athletic Club.
