PRINCETON OPPONENTS IN SOCCER

University Team Meets Strong Line-up at Princeton at 10 o'clock.

The University association football team will play Princeton at Princeton this morning at 10 o'clock. This is the first game of the season away from Soldiers Field, so that it cannot be said whether the playing of the team is affected by strange territory or not. At all events, the team as a whole, and especially the attack, will be compelled to play better soccer than heretofore in the season in order to defeat the strong Princeton eleven. The latter has a string of victories to its credit and that of 3 to 1 against the Crescent Athletic Club of Brooklyn is considered specially indicative of good work. The University line-up to start the game is as follows: l.o.f., Weld; l.i.f., Carnochan; c.f., Baker; r.i.f., Foster; r.o.f., Smart; l.h.b., Carson; c.h.b., Francke; r.h.b., Grant; r.f.b., Kingman; l.f.b., Moffat; g., Nichols.
