FOURTEEN TEAMS TO COMPETE

ANNUAL CROSS-COUNTRY INTER-COLLEGIATES AT NEW YORK SATURDAY.

The fifteenth annual intercollegiate cross-country run will be held at Columbia University, New York, N. Y., ever the Van Cortlandt Park course on Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Entries have been received from fourteen colleges including Brown, Colgate, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania State College, Princeton, Syracuse, Yale, and the College of the City of New York. Last year the event was won by Harvard. The course is about six miles long and comparatively level. Each team will run seven men, the first five of which to finish will figure in the score.

The team will leave Back Bay tomorrow afternoon at 5.30 o'clock and will spend the night at the Hotel McAlpin. Friday morning the men will walk over the course. The following men will make the trip.--F. H. Blackman '14, Captain R. St. B. Boyd '14, A. R. Boynton '14, H. G. MacLure '15, C. Southworth '15, E. P. Stone '15, W. M. Tugman, Jr., '14, and W. A. Peckham '14, substitute. In addition, managers C. G. Squib '14 and J. Greenough '15, Coach Shrubb, and a rubber, will accompany the team.
