The final race-off of Wednesday's heats in the singles races of University crew squad was held yesterday afternoon on the 3-4 mile stretch above the boathouse. L.S. Chanler '14, the most experienced single sculler on the squad, finished first with two lengths of open water between him and the second man, Captain Reynolds. H.A. Murray '15 was third, beating out L. Saltonstall '14 in the last few strokes. H. Middendorf '16, who had a poor start came in last.
