The members of the University crew squad raced in singles yesterday afternoon over the three-quarter mile stretch above the boat house. The squad was divided into four heats of about five men each. J. Talcott '16 won the first heat with J. M. Graham '15 a close second. In the next heat H. Middendorf '16 came in just ahead of L. Curtis '14. The third and fourth heats being raced together, Captain Reynolds won out, with H. A. Murray '15 and L. Saltonstall '14 second and third respectively. L. S. Chanler '14 could not find a place in this heat, and will be in the final race-off today. This race will include: Talcott, Middendorf, Reynolds, Murray, Saltonstall, and Chanler.
