The second University eleven defeated the Brown second team on Soldiers Field Saturday afternoon by a score of 13 to 0. The wretched condition of the field precluded any spectacular playing, but Winsor at centre. Felton at end, and King in the backfield played hard and fairly consistent games.
The first score came in the first period on a forward pass over the line from King to Felton. After this there was no score until almost the end of the game when Stanton intercepted a forward pass on Brown's 20-yard line and ran for a touchdown.
