TRACK CANDIDATES' MEETING

WORK FOR WINTER SEASON TO BE OUTLINED.--MANY MEETS SCHEDULED.

There will be a meeting of the candidates for the University and Freshman track teams in the Assembly Room of the Union tonight at 7 o'clock. Captain R. C. Foster '11 will explain the work to be done by candidates for the teams this winter. J. W. Hallowell '01, captain of the University track team in that year will also speak.

All Freshmen who wish to join the class in general athletics which will be held this year under the direction of W. F. Garcelon L.'95 and P. Withington '10 during the coming winter should be present as P. Withington '10 will outline the work of the class.

Schedule for Relay Teams' Practice.

In order to facilitate the work of coaching the relay teams, a schedule has been arranged which will be followed every day of practice. Men trying for the teams will report at the board track on Soldiers Field at the hours given below: 4 o'clock--candidates for the 390-yard relay team; 4.15 o'clock--candidates for the 780-yard relay team; 4.30 o'clock--candidates for the Freshman relay team. All other men who wish to run should report before or after the above times.
