At 9 o'clock this evening the Harvard Monthly will hold a smoker for all literary and business candidates in its office on the third floor of the Union. Any men who wish to enter either the business or literary competition are cordially invited to attend this smoker, where detailed outline of the work will be give them. It is hoped that a large number of new men and all the old candidates will attend.

Candidates for Advocate.

There will be a smoker for all literary and business candidates of the Harvard Advocate in the office on the third floor of the Union Wednesday evening, between 7.30 and 9 o'clock. A short outline of the work will be given, followed by the arrangement of appointments with editorial candidates. No experience is required.
