FRESHMAN CROSS-COUNTRY

Call for More Candidates to Train for University Teams.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The number of men reporting for Freshman cross-country practice yesterday afternoon was unusually small. As Coach Shrubb devotes part of his time to the Freshmen, such a showing is far from satisfactory. Aside from the experience gained in cross-country work, and the chance that any man may discover ability in training Freshman year which will enable him to make the University team later, the opportunity of working under Coach Shrubb is an unusual one. It is hoped that enough men from the class will come out to warrant the attention paid to them and insure the success of the team.

Candidates should report at the Locker Building to R. St.B. Boyd '14 at 11 o'clock or to Captain Lawless at 2.15.
