HOLY CROSS THIS AFTERNOON

UNIVERSITY LOST TO VISITORS IN FIRST GAME BY SCORE OF 7 TO 5.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University baseball team will meet Holy Cross in the second game between the two teams on Soldiers Field this afternoon at 2.30 o'clock. The Holy Cross team won the game played at Worcester on May 11 by the score of 7 to 5, due largely to the poor pitching of Felton. Since then Williams has defeated the Holy Cross team, 6 to 1. In this game Murray pitched for Holy Cross and proved himself an able man, but his teammates failed to give him the necessary support.

The game this afternoon will afford a good opportunity to judge the relative improvement of the two teams during the past month.

The batting orders follow: HARVARD.  HOLY CROSS. Wingate, s.s.  s.s., J. Murray Wigglesworth, r.f.  3b., Cawley Potter, 2b.  1b., Ostregren Clark, 1b.  2b., Volk Babson, l.f.  l.f., Twomey Gibson, 3b.  r.f., Kennedy Young, c.  c.f., O'Brien Bolton, c.f.  c., Gans Hardy or Bartholf, p.  p., Dube or R. Murray
