The University and Freshman crew squads, numbering 23 and 19 men respectively, will leave Boston on the 1.03 train Monday for Red Top to begin the final weeks of preparation for the Yale races on June 21. The "John Harvard" and the new speed coaching launch have already been sent down and are awaiting the arrival of the men.

The Yale squads are now at work on the Thames, having reached Gales Ferry Wednesday afternoon. Twenty university oarsmen and sixteen freshmen were taken to the training quarters, and this morning all went over a 2 and 1-2 mile course in extremely rough water.
