FRESHMAN TIME TRIALS HELD

220-Yard Dash Postponed to This Afternoon.--No Times Given Out.

The results of the time trials for the Freshman track team in preparation for the Andover meet next Saturday are given below. However, in choosing the team, the coaches will take form into account as well as the times made in yesterday's trials which were not given out. The trials in the 220-yard dash were postponed until 4 o'clock this afternoon. No trials were held in the field events.

The summary:

100-yard dash.--First heat won by R. Tower; second, E. F. Atkins; third, W. P. Mandell. Second heat won by J. L. Foley; second, C. H. Tilton; third, J. P. Spang. Final heat won by R. Tower; second, J. L. Foley; third, C. H. Tilton.

440-yard dash.--Won by F. W. Capper; second, J. C. Rock; third, G. H. Whitney.

880-yard run.-- Won by E. P. Stone; second, W. B. Sloane; third, H. A. Swan.

One-mile run.-- Won by H. G. MacLure; second, B. V. Zamore; third, B. S. Carter.

220-yard low hurdles.--Won by H. S. J. Smith; tie for second place between C. H. Tilton and W. T. Wright.
