TO CELEBRATE ANNIVERSARY

Pierian Sodality is One Hundred and Four Years Old.--Dinner in Union at 6.15.

The Pierian Sodality will hold at Anniversary Dinner in the Trophy Room of the Union this evening at 6.15 o'clock. This marks the one hundred and fourth anniversary of the founding of the Sodality, which is the leading college organization of its kind in the country. The speakers of the evening are: toastmaster, C. D. Clifton '12, conductor of the orchestra from 1909 to 1911; Dr. P. G. Clapp '09, of the department of Music, conductor of the orchestra from 1907 to 1909. Professor W. C. Heilman '00, of the department of Music; Dean Hurlbut; Mr. Ralph Lyford, assistant conductor at the Boston Opera House; C. S. Parker '12, president of the Sodality; and Professor W. R. Spalding '87, of the department of Music.

The annual dinner for the members of the orchestra will be held some time in May.
