West Point defeated the University fencing team last Saturday with a score of 6 bouts to 3. M. M. Boyd '12 did the best work for the University, winning two of his three bouts, and G. B. Wilbur '12 won one of the three bouts he fought.

The result of this meet is decidedly encouraging, as the University team is the first which has scored so many bouts against West. Point this season. Both Yale and Columbia have been defeated by the Army 7 to 2, and the Washington Fencing Club, which beat Annapolis 5 to 4, has also been defeated by West Point.
