The remaining matches in the preliminary round of the scrub hockey series were finished yesterday afternoon with the following results: the Alfalfas defeated the Yynkles, 1 to 0; the Hired Girls defeated the Echoes, 5 to 0; the Seven Deadly Sins defeated the Chilblains, by default; the Cake Boxes defeated the Angleworms, 9 to 0; the Follies defeated the Edison Lights, 2 to 1. The games scheduled for today are: at 2.30, the Seven Sutherland Sisters vs. the Seven Deadly Sins, and the Arcadians vs. the Arterial Artillery; at 3.15, the Little Jeffs vs. the Alfalfas; at 4.00, the Hired Girls vs. the Cake Boxes. Since the Freshman hockey team will hold practice at 3 o'clock, it is necessary that the games scheduled for 2.30 be played promptly.
The managers of the teams must leave scores and line-ups of games in the CRIMSON Office before 8 o'clock, and also must leave a note stating the earliest possible times that their teams can play each day. A schedule for the next few days has been posted in the CRIMSON Office, and any changes should be reported as soon as possible.
